This is “Bosingwa” . It is actually very hard doing this Hommie; I had wanted to keep mute till I see you ‘lying in State’, but for the records …
From Electronic and Computer Engineering Department, NAU, through NYSC Service year to this prime hustle stage, You quickly built up a network of friends and a support group under a name, Afrivelle knowing how ..... to part no more.
Talk of Top 3 Successful Entrepreneur/Young Minds amongst ECE 2015 Graduates, You are there. I called a lot of people after Service Year in 2016 for Business Direction but you granted me access first.
Your words…
1. Bossy, Be sure of what you want to do and let me know; we generate the funding.
2. Few month later, I came back
3. Bosingwa, how do plan to manage your workers, make enough productions when demand is high;
4. I left and never bothered coming back…
5. Bosingwa, If I have half of the contacts you have, you will be surprised at what I will do with them;
6. How
7. Bosingwa received a 2 hours call from his bossom friend.
8. Bosingwa is time for you to come in fully
9. I received an ID and Business card from you directly as part of your team.
I have not delivered your first assignment because ‘This is Nigeria ’ but I hope to fulfil task regardless and others that followed suit.
Indeed, a little spot of earth will you, my mentor, benefactor, friend and leader, Igili-gate, fill from now on, but the admiration and appreciation of the unique life you chose to live will forever inhabit the hearts of many of this generation, even unto the coming generations of Nigerians. Although I was no child, nor even a close blood relative of yours, I have had the unusual personal experience of receiving several messages of commiseration over your death since the news broke on Tuesday, the 26th day of June, 2018.
Such messages/words of commiserations have come from my own parents, siblings and many others
with whom I share no blood relationship. I have also authored similar messages of commiseration to
others, who were in no better relationship to you than I am.
From what I have come to know, the experience I have described has been in no way unique to me. For apart from condoling with members of your immediate and extended family, ECE 2015/Afrivelle have also been condoling with one another on the momentous occasion of their loss of you, their colleague and Tech champion, and asking “why now?
Your Legacies will be upheld and Landmark Projects will be raised in your name.
Keep Resting Bro!
